MCAD Engineer

Uses CATIA V5 and PLM system to support design of products in automotive braking division (ABS electronic control units). Work with international team on the daily basis. Create and upload drawings and models. Prepare complete sets of drawings which include technical layout, multiple views, detail drawings and assembly drawings per customer requirements. May perform file transfers and CAD data translation to other systems. CAD person will follow ASME standards, GD&T and internal TRW procedures. Will utilize various TRW and customer change management systems.
- degree in mechanical engineering;
- communicative English skills;
- experience in design of plastic and metal components;
- modeling and drafting experience in CATIA V5;
- ability to work with a CAD database environment (PDM/PLM)
- knowledge of ASME or ISO drawing standards;
Optional Skills:
- knowledge of mold design;
- ability to utilize GD&T techniques on drawings;
- knowledge of product development in automotive industry;
- analytical skills and quick learning ability;

Requirements:
- degree in software, electronics, computer science or electrical engineering;

Algorithm Developer
Mon, 09/12/2011 - 15:24 — RekrutacjaThe Algorithm Developer will support development and testing of the Automatic Temperature control (ATC) in the HVAC system. The Algorithm Developer is responsible for adjusting software parameters as well as developing algorithms that control the HVAC thermal system to produce the desired system response per customer specification. The Algorithm Developer will interface with the customer managing requirement definition and issue resolution. Automatic Temperature control development and calibration is supported through wind tunnel tests, road trips, and management sign-off. Additional responsibilities include data analysis, algorithm development and change recommendations. Moderate travel is required to support over the road (OTR) testing and spec sign off.
- BE or ME degree in Computational Physics, Applied Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering or relevant;
- Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics
- Working knowledge of Algorithm development for closed loop control systems;
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems (not necessarily automotive);
- Experience in root cause analysis;
- Knowledge of Thermodynamic principals;
- Knowledge of embedded software systems;
- Experience with Matlab / Simulink, MS Office, Surround and Testtrack, VPN, Beyond Compare;
- Experience working with the customer (conflict resolution);
- Self Starter with excellent organizational skills;
- Fluent knowledge of English
